WOODROW ‘CHIP’ CRAWFORD, JR. Chip He was
the president of the Central Florida Scottish-American Society.
Chip is survived by his wife, Karen Jordan-Crawford; daughter, Allana Grace
Crawford; step-daughter, Danielle Allana Parsons (husband, Steven Parsons);
sister, Cathy Rivera; sister, Connie Herrara (husband, Henry Herrara, Sr.);
granddaughter, Lucy Abigail Parsons; and nieces and nephews, Kealan Rivera,
Henry Herrara, Jr., Ashley Smith and Aaron Herrara.
DAVID HARDIN GOUGE.Husband, father, grandad, brother, mentor, friend, minister of the Gospel, 101st Airborne, photographer,diver, upholsterer, Scoutmaster, teacher, grillmaster, locomotive enthusiast, punster and kilted volunteer of Central Florida Scottish Highland Games. He went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2019 after a long battle with Agent Orange-related cancer.
JOHN “BUD” W. BLACK, JR.Husband to his ever- patient Wendy, Bud was a long-time entertainer on the Delta Queen Steamboat, performing on banjo, guitar and mandolin. He was quick with a song or funny story and often said, “You just can’t play a sad song on a bango.”
CALVIN LEE GUTHRIE.Mr. Guthrie served in the Army during the years of 1967-1979. He was a Vietnam War Veteran Ground Medic for one tour from 1967-1968. “DUSTOFF” #236 from 1971-1972. He was awarded Air Medal with numeral 12, Vietnam Service Medal with
1 Silver Service Star and 2 Bronze Service Stars, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm Unit Citation. Good Conduct Medal (Feb 1, 1970), Aircraft Crewman Badge and Combat Medic Badge. He also received the National Defense Service Medal, 4 Overseas Bars, Vietnam Service Medal with 6 Campaign Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ 60 Device. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, DAV, and a member of the American Legion. He was Post Commander of 4008 in Belton, Texas for 4 years. He was “Driver of the Year” in 1994 at Paul Arpin Van Lines.
PHYLLIS CLARKE PRUITT. A lovely Irish lass who sparkled with wit and smiles. Mother of Karen Clarke Pruitt; Highland Games Heritage Tent.
REID RAPPORT. He served honorably in the U.S. Army as a Specialist E-4. A Guild-Certified Sommelier, Reid was well known in Central Florida and beyond for his enthusiastic love of wine and fine food. He was a long-standing member of the Alliance of Sommeliers and was the founder of a local single malt whisky education group.

CLAN CHIEF, LADY ELIZABETH, THE RIGHT HONOURABLE COUNTESS OF SUTHERLAND. Lady Elizabeth, succumbed to pneumonia and died peacefully at her home in London.
COL. THORNTON "ANDY" ANDERSON.JR.,USMC Retired. Served in WWII and the Korean War. Acitve member of The Knights Templar and SAS, CLan Anderson.
CARELTON MACRAE COOK II. Served two tours in Vietnam, worked at Nebraska State Penitentiary and was house detective for Playboy Enterprises. Carl served as President of the Scottish American Society of Central Florida, announcer for atheletics and public safety. Carl drummed with various Pipe and Drum bands over the years and was a magnet for people with his infectious luagh and smile.
JIM BURGESS. American Legion Commandant in Safety Harbor, Board Member and Officer of the Blue Knights and Florida Convenor for Clan Young and one of the founders of New World Celts.
CURTIS CONDON.Served in the US Navy aboard USS Wisconsin (BB-64) and was a veteran of the the Korean War. Curt was an active member in the Loyal Order of the Moose and earned his Pilgrim Degree of Merit. Father to Cheryl Barrett-SASCF Childrens' Games.
REAY SUTHERLAND MACKAY.A child prodiy earning his first of many professional piping competetions at age 13, Reay went on to earn the North American Solo Piping Championship 6 times consecutively.
ALICE MARGARET WALLING MEWES.A lifelong teacher and charter member of Sanlando United Methodist Church, she sang in the choir and had a passion for jail ministry and was one of the original members of SAS Orlando (Clan Grant).
HEIDI MICHELLE NAGEL, M.D. Programmer for NIntendo before becomg Board Certified Physician working at Northwest Medical Center. Heidi was a violinist in the Celtic Conundrum band and active member in New World Celts.
