Kid's Games
Fun is the name of the game! Face Painting, Arts & Crafts, Story Telling and GAMES, GAMES, GAMES! What is most unique about our program is in addition to fun we provide educational opportunities regarding Scottish history. We offer two areas for children. The Central Florida Scottish Highland Games offers the all activities to the Kid's Games at no additional charge. We hope that your family enjoys the games and these activities for the wee one.
**ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES**
Kid's Activities
Main Kid’s Arena
is an area for children ages 1 to 12 that provides an opportunity of fun and learning for your lads and lassies. Kids get to experience our version of Scottish popular games in a non-competitive atmosphere. At entrance to the kids arena children will receive a passport which will get stamped upon completion of the following activities; Arts & Crafts, Caber Toss, Haggis Hurl and Sheaf Toss. Kids with a completed passport will receive an Achievement Award certificate. The children may also participate in Scotland’s favorite past-time sports–kid-sized Golf and Football (Soccer).
Junior Piper
A performance will be given by the Scottish-American Society of Central Florida scholarship recipient.
Face Painting
Our impressive team of artists await your fabulous face to do free cheek art or a full-mug masterpiece for a wee fee.
Story Telling
Tales will be told with a Scottish or Celtic theme suitable for children at 11:00 A.M, 1:00 P.M and 3:00 P.M.
Arts & Crafts
An opportunity for the kids to explore their artistic side by making some traditional Scottish themed paper crafts as well as coloring..
